Alyssa adopted Cookie in August of 2012 from Pawsitive Karma Rescue.
My parents’ dog (Cheyenne) is a White Lab and has been a part of my family for the past 12 years or so. She’s an adorable dog and just wants loves all the time. Sometimes, she has little seizures that we’ve had checked out and they aren’t a danger to her or anything. But, she gets really scared because during it she freezes and can’t move.
While I was at work this past Monday, Max was with my mom, younger brother, and Cheyenne. The dogs’ relationship is kinda like the big sister and the little brother. She’s tired all the time…he wants to play all the time. Unfortunately, she had a seizure, there isn’t much we can do other than sit with her and try to comfort her. I guess Max knew that. During the episode, he went and nicely laid down next to her. Here’s a photo my mom snatched just after the event.
